I trust you to help me try and put this mess in my head into words and to answer whatever I ask - and I know I asked too much before and I'm asking for even more now and it's not fair."
"Also, before I lose my nerve," she admits. "I think you're wonderful. Not just 'capable officer' wonderful, but as a friend." Her lips twitch and she flushes scarlet, but she stays linked to him via that shared touch on the device. "As a man."
